Kluang Travel Sketching Symposium

In Collaboration with various art groups, our community initiative to assist the local non profit community group 柔中一线牵 to  preserve heritage and promote tourism of Kluang located in the centre of the state. During these few days, we have explored various interesting locations from Heritage Street, local market under big tree, old Kopitiam, nostalgic small town Rengam to scenic mountain Gunung Lambak. With the great assistance of Singapore Urban Sketchers, various art workshops have been conducted for the local art students and lovers there.

A joined sketches depicted buildings along the whole Heritage Street has been created with the team effort of all participated artists. Kluang has not only impressed us with the tasty food, beautiful scenery and diverse culture & heritage, but also with her warmest hospitality and friendliness. The event has ended perfectly with an art exhibition hosted at a bricky building beautifully set up with unique character.
